BARBARA CURRIER has dominated real estate listings and sales in West Cambridge for 28 years. In 1981 Barbara and her husband, Richard, founded Currier Associates, a highly successful real estate firm.  In 1994, they merged their firm with DeWolfe Residential Real Estate. In 2002, DeWolfe was acquired by Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage. Throughout the acquisitions and mergers, Barbara has been among the top five sales associates and earned the prestigious "25 Leaders Making a Difference" award from Bankers & Tradesman. In 2006, Barbara was named Vice President, a distinction awarded only to the company's most successful salespeople.

Energetic and meticulously well-organized, Barbara gathers friends, family, and clients with great warmth and good humor. A wonderful cook, & passionate about music, she is also a competitive race walker. Barbara moved to Cambridge while pursuing a Master's degree in education from Wheelock College. The degree has proved helpful in raising four children, who are currently students at Harvard Medical School/M.I.T., Boston University Medical School, Worcester Polytechnical Institute, and UMass Boston. Barbara teams her expertise with that of her husband, Richard. Together, they attend showings, stage and organize open houses, and see to the details of sales and closings.
