Barbara Currier, her husband Richard and their four children have lived at148 Lexington Avenue in Cambridge for 21 years. Barbara and Richard founded Currier Associates real estate on Huron Avenue and merged her company with DeWolfe in 1994. This proved to be very successful move that has placed Barbara among the top 5 sales associates in the Cambridge office for the past five years. In 1997, she was the top broker in the Cambridge office She has continued to excel in her career including earning the prestigious "25 Leaders Making a Difference" award from the Bankers&Tradesman publication. Barbara moved to Cambridge while in pursuit of a Masters' degree in education from Wheelock College. The degree has proved helpful in raising four children, who are currently students at Harvard Medical School, Boston University, Worchester PT, and The Gunnery School. Energetic and meticulously well organized, Barbara gathers friends, family and clients with her great warmth and humor. A wonderful cook, passionate about music, she is also a competitive race walker. Most recently she participated in the Dublin Marathon to help raise money for a 12-year old child fighting leukemia. Barbara has dominated listings and sales in West Cambridge for 22 years.
